About me
My work as an English-Russian translator and interpreter combines my love of languages, my background in jurisprudence and linguistics, and my understanding of Russian and American culture. After growing up in a family of artists and linguists in Russia, I earned my undergraduate degree in Russian Linguistics before relocating to the US in 1999. My next step was to turn my language skills into a career, and I earned a Certificate in Translation Studies from the University of Chicago, a Certificate of Paralegal Studies from Gainesville State College and took courses in art history, theatrical design, journalism, and writing at Georgia State University. After working for several years as a paralegal for a prominent Atlanta law firm, I launched my translation business full-time, and served on the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Association of Interpreters and Translators for two years. I look forward to helping you expand your reach to a Russian-speaking audience!
